VP Operations

We're seeking a dynamic VP of Operations to join our executive team and drive CarbonCloud to new heights.

We're looking for a dedicated and dynamic VP of Operations to join CarbonCloud's executive team. This isn't just another role—it's a pivotal position that will help us realize our ambitious goals and propel CarbonCloud to new heights.

As our VP of Operations, you'll be a key player in our strategic leadership, ensuring that our operations are not only effective but also aligned with our vision. Your role will involve overseeing all operational functions and leading these teams to success. This position is crucial for us, especially as we navigate the exciting challenges of scaling up.

Your exceptional leadership, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills will be instrumental in overcoming complex organizational hurdles. Plus, as this is a new role at CarbonCloud, you'll have the unique opportunity to shape the team structure from the ground up.

we're on a mission to combat climate change by empowering food and beverage companies worldwide to measure and reduce their carbon footprint. Our SaaS enables food and beverage players to identify, track, and optimize their climate footprint throughout the supply chain. Since the food domain is so complex, it is even more important that we find you; owning a strategic leadership and operational expertise to streamline our processes and drive our mission forward.

Your responsibilities will be to...

Collaborate with the executive team to align objectives, initiatives, and resources throughout the organization. Drive strategic planning and own effective execution of key initiatives.

Oversee and manage strategic projects and initiatives, ensuring timely completion and successful outcomes. Coordinate cross-functional teams, track progress, and identify and mitigate risks.

    Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across departments and stakeholders. Own with the team executive-level communications, presentations, and reports. Coordinate and lead meetings, ensuring follow-up actions are executed.

    Develop and implement metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess organizational performance. Regularly monitor and analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.

    Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Serve as a liaison between the executive team and various departments, ensuring alignment and effective information flow.

    Support the identification, evaluation, and execution of strategic initiatives including mergers and acquisitions

        To succeed and deliver in this role, we think you have...

        • Growth SaaS Experience: At least 10 years in growth-oriented SaaS companies, with roles similar to VP Operations or in strategic/operational leadership.
        • Project Management: Expertise in leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects efficiently within time and budget constraints.
        • Strategic Execution: Proven track record in strategic thinking, plan implementation, initiative driving, and achieving results in high-growth environments.
        • Analytical Skills: Exceptional ability to analyze complex situations, identify key issues, and develop data-driven recommendations.
        • Team Leadership: Proven ability to motivate, develop, and mentor team members to reach their full potential.
        • Relationship Management: Experience in building strategic partnerships and managing key stakeholder relationships.
        • Business Acumen: Strong understanding of business operations, financial management, and market dynamics within the SaaS industry.
        • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments, handle ambiguity, and remain resilient amidst challenges.

          Additional information:

          • Salary: Fixed monthly salary and an attractive bonus model (OTE)
          • Scope: Full-time employment (with a 6-month probationary period)
          • Location: on site at our HQ in Gothenburg
          • Vacation days: 25 days of vacation annually
          • Benefits: Fitness subsidy of 2000 SEK, Health insurance, Pension
          • The recruitment process will consist of a total of 8 interviews or meetings
          • It is mandatory to hold a working permit (work VISA) for Sweden before applying (for non-EU citizens)
