As a Senior Data Scientist at CarbonCloud, you'll be right in the thick of our scientific efforts, teaming up directly with our VP of Science and closely with our development crews. Here's what you'll be working on:

• Building Models and Datasets: You'll be pivotal in boosting CarbonCloud's competitive edge by constantly refining our models and datasets. This means spotting areas for improvement and innovation and pushing forward our modeling game to stay ahead in the industry.
• Crafting Products: Your ability to translate complex scientific models into practical solutions will be highly valuable. Whether it's directly implementing these models or creating prototypes, you'll ensure they smoothly fit into our software offerings. Plus, you'll whip up tools for internal use to handle models and datasets with ease.
• Teamwork Across the Board: Sharing knowledge is at the heart of CarbonCloud. You'll be spreading the word about scientific insights across the organization, helping fine-tune specs for the Product and Engineering teams, and lending a hand to Sales and Customer Success teams with customer queries. You'll also team up with Marketing to brainstorm fresh content ideas and ensure our scientific messaging hits the mark.

• Stay in the Loop with Science: It's crucial to keep CarbonCloud in the know about the latest scientific breakthroughs. You'll be on the ball, staying updated on what's new in the field and weaving emerging science into our products and strategies. That means helping customers meet ever-evolving reporting needs and keeping our offerings top-notch.
  

To thrive and deliver in this role, we believe you have the following experiences:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• You are great at developing creative technical solutions to ill-defined problems.
• Deep expertise in mathematical modeling and working with complex datasets.
• Experience engaging with and contributing to a technical scientific field at the highest level, probably attained through a Ph.D. in physics, chemistry, mathematics, or similar.
• Proven ability to deliver results in a business context. You know how to identify key inputs for the organization and deliver them at the right quality and in a timely fashion.
• Experience collaborating with software developers. Python and machine learning experience is a plus.

• Salary: Fixed monthly salary and an attractive bonus model
• Scope: Full-time employment (with a 6-month probationary period)
• Location: on site at our HQ in Gothenburg, located at Aschebergsgatan 44
