Product Manager

Do you want to apply your abilities to the world's most urgent issue? Are you driven to innovate, create, and deliver successful and user-centric products? If so, you have found your team! 👏

At CarbonCloud, we're on a mission to combat climate change by empowering food and beverage companies worldwide to measure and reduce their carbon footprint. Our SaaS enables food and beverage players to identify, track, and optimize their climate footprint throughout the supply chain. Since the food domain is so complex, it is even more important that we find you: an analytical and problem-solving Product Manager who can ensure that the right features are created and prioritized to provide a top-class product to our customers.

As a Product Manager, you bring a high level of analytical and problem-solving skills. You can easily analyze complex situations, identify key issues, develop data-driven recommendations, and drive improvements. We are currently in an expansion phase, getting our product lead growth in motion and seeking someone with prior experience in similar journeys to better understand and contribute to our growth.

Your responsibilities:

  • Feature Ownership: Own individual features of the product, from ideation to development, launch, and iteration. Manage the feature backlog, prioritize based on business and customer impact, and make sure planned value is delivered to customers.
  • Product Planning: Support the Head of Product Management in developing and refining the product vision and strategy. Contribute to the product roadmap by identifying opportunities for new features or improvements based on customer needs and market developments.
  • Support Go-to-Market Strategy: Own the whole life cycle of our new products and features and collaborate with marketing and sales, to support the execution of their successful go-to-market strategy.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer success to ensure the successful delivery of your feature set. Be a key point of communication for all feature-related inquiries and updates.
  • Customer Insight: Conduct customer interviews, surveys, and user testing to gain insight into customer needs and feedback. Use these insights to inform feature decisions and improvements.
  • Market Analysis: Keep abreast of the competitive landscape and latest industry trends and technologies. Use this knowledge to inform feature development and positioning.

In due time, you will also be working on Customer Acquisition and Retention, developing strategies to attract new customers and increase user acquisition rates, through our products. This includes implementing tactics such as user collaboration and on-platform invitations to drive growth. Another area you will focus on in the future is User Engagement and Activation, analyzing user behavior and engagement metrics to identify opportunities for improving user activation and retention rates, but also collaborating with UX design to enhance the user experience and make the product more engaging. This part also includes implementing strategies such as onboarding processes and personalized messaging to increase user engagement.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience working in growth-oriented SaaS companies, preferably in a similar PM role
  • Strategic Thinking and Execution. You have experience developing and implementing strategic plans, driving initiatives, and achieving measurable results in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Product management expertise. You have expertise in product management, by managing products/features, and delivering on time and within budget. If you’ve previously worked according to the PLG (product-lead-growth) mindset, we see it as a significant advantage - but it’s not a requirement.

    Additional information:

    • Fixed monthly salary
    • Scope: Full-time employment (with a 6-month probationary period)
    • 25 days of vacation annually
    • Fitness subsidy of 2000 SEK
    • Health insurance
    • Pension
    • Location: On-site at our HQ in Gothenburg, located at Aschebergsgatan 44

Please note: if you are not an EU citizen you must have full working rights aligned with Swedish laws.
