CarbonCloud is looking for a VP of Marketing to develop and lead our marketing strategy at a hyper-scale phase. You will build and lead a team to drive growth through brand, partner, and performance marketing channels.
You will be responsible for building and leading a global, ambitious multicultural marketing team to drive awareness, conversions and ultimately revenue towards CarbonCloud’s growth.
Who you are:
We are looking for an experienced VP Marketing to join the CarbonCloud team, you will play a crucial role in shaping and executing the company's marketing strategy, driving demand generation, supporting commercial efforts, and creating a customer-centric strategy. This requires strong collaboration with cross-functional teams, a deep understanding of the target market, and the ability to develop and execute effective marketing tactics and campaigns.
To achieve this, you as the VP Marketing will work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, Sales & Customer Success, and Product teams. You will collaborate with these teams to shape and execute marketing programs, digital marketing efforts, and customer and partner events. This collaboration ensures a cohesive and integrated approach to marketing, where all departments work together towards common goals.
Your key responsibilities:
Strategy Development: Crafting a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with CarbonCloud's overall business objectives. This includes identifying key market opportunities, defining target audiences, and determining effective marketing channels and tactics.
Team Leadership: Building and leading a high-performing marketing team that is capable of executing the marketing strategy effectively. This includes recruiting, mentoring, and developing marketing talent, as well as fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Branding and Positioning: Developing and refining CarbonCloud's brand positioning and messaging to effectively communicate the company's value proposition and differentiation to the target audience. Ensuring consistent and compelling brand messaging across all marketing channels and touchpoints.
Demand Generation: Driving demand generation initiatives to generate qualified leads and nurture prospects through the marketing funnel. This includes implementing effective lead generation campaigns, optimizing conversion rates, and leveraging data-driven insights to continuously improve marketing performance.
Analytics and Measurement: Establishing KPIs and implementing robust analytics and measurement systems to track the effectiveness and ROI of marketing initiatives. Utilizing data-driven insights to optimize marketing strategies and tactics for maximum impact.
The mission of the VP Marketing is to spearhead the growth of CarbonCloud. Through innovative marketing strategies and effective team leadership, the VP Marketing will position CarbonCloud as the category leading player in the market, drive customer acquisition, and contribute to the company's overall success in the hyper-growth phase.
Skills & requirements:
7+ years of experience in marketing, product management, communications, or demand generation for B2B PLG in a SaaS company
Deep digital marketing expertise, with a track-record of successfully testing channels, scaling campaigns and building marketing programs, and optimizing customer journeys
Critical, analytical thinker with a proven ability to turn high-level business requirements into programs that drive customer engagement
Very strong writing skills and strong presentation skills
Previous experience at a mid to late stage start-/scale-up organization
Experience in building, leading and scaling high performance teams
Proficient in professional English
Knowledge in food processing
Knowledge from the food industry
Additional language skills
Fixed monthly salary + commission
