About the Role
Responsibilities
- Own and drive two concurrent improvement projects within the retrievals service, from problem definition through execution and measurable impact.
- Identify root causes behind retrieval delays, escalations, and inefficiencies, and design pragmatic solutions to address them.
- Take full ownership of initiatives, proactively communicating progress, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders.
- Drive improvements to key retrieval metrics, with a focus on increasing SLA adherence and reducing support ticket volume.
- Partner closely with Warehousing, Delivery, and M&D teams to improve handoffs, processes, and accountability.
- Support continuous improvement as retrieval volumes scale globally.
- Work closely with Technology, Service Operations, and other internal teams to implement operational improvements.
- Engage with clients or partners as required when escalations or complex retrieval scenarios arise.
- Gather input and alignment from relevant stakeholders, incorporating feedback into solutions.
- Use data to diagnose issues, prioritize initiatives, and measure impact.
- Track performance before and after changes to ensure improvements are sustainable and scalable.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Business, Logistics, or a related field.
- ~2 years of experience in operations, project-based roles, or service environments is a plus, but not a strict requirement.
- More important than experience is how you approach problems, communicate, and take ownership.
Required Skills
- Strong structured thinking and problem-solving ability.
- Comfortable operating in ambiguous environments and refining problems as you go.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously without losing momentum.
- Clear and proactive communicator, able to surface risks and provide updates without being prompted.
- Data-driven mindset — using metrics to guide decisions and validate outcomes.
- Strong ownership mentality: you see problems through end-to-end rather than stopping at handoffs.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in operations, service delivery, logistics, or scaling operational processes.
- Exposure to working with cross-functional teams in fast-growing environments.
- Familiarity with service metrics, SLAs, or operational dashboards.
