About the Role
We are looking for a Sourcing Team Lead to lead and scale our global sourcing function. In this role, you will combine hands-on sourcing expertise with people leadership, process ownership, and strong cross-functional collaboration. You will be responsible for ensuring reliable global sourcing, accurate catalogues, strong supplier relationships, and high-quality execution, while also coaching and developing a growing team.
You will work closely with Procurement, Customer Operations, Finance, and Customer Success to ensure sourcing decisions support both operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Day-to-Day Actions & Monitoring
• Lead global sourcing day-to-day activities of IT hardware and accessories, ensuring correct pricing, lead times, and availability.
• Oversee creation, maintenance, and quality of product listings across client catalogues.
• Ensure supplier updates (pricing, availability, EOL, lead times) are reflected accurately and on time.
• Act as escalation point for complex sourcing and catalogue issues (pricing discrepancies, availability gaps, data inconsistencies).
• Ensure all sourcing and catalogue updates meet agreed SLAs and quality standards.
• Partner closely with Finance on pricing alignment and discrepancy resolution.
Team Leadership & Management
• Lead, coach, and develop the Sourcing team (5 Analysts), setting clear priorities, standards, and ways of working.
• Own and maintain Zendesk reporting dashboards for the EU region, ensuring structure, consistency, and accuracy across fields, tags, and workflows
• Own team performance, workload distribution, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Review open tickets daily, ensuring timely resolution and proper adherence to workflows
• Work closely with Procurement Project Management team on supplier onboarding, negotiations, pricing strategies, and sourcing models.
• Contribute to roadmap discussions by identifying sourcing-related risks, gaps, and improvement opportunities.
Process Quality, Improvement & Ownership
• Ensure agent correct usage of escalation pathways and resolve complex sourcing tickets directly or collaborate with relevant stakeholders
• Identify sourcing training needs through QA results, ticket audits, and trend analysis
• Partner with Knowledge Management to create or update internal articles
• Recommend operational improvements, workflow updates, or system changes based on Zendesk data insights
• Provide structured feedback to Operations and Product teams on recurring Support issues, themes, and gaps
Education & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in support, Procurement, or related field (preferred)
• 4+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, operations in a SaaS, tech, or fast-growing environment.
• 2+ years of team lead, or mentorship experience
• Strong understanding of global supplier ecosystems and sourcing workflows.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience working with ticketing systems (e.g. Zendesk) and catalogue or order management tools.
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
• Ability to structure, analyse, and interpret support data to influence team and operational improvements

Bonus Skills
• Zendesk admin experience
• Understanding of IT lifecycle, logistics flows, or hardware asset management
• Experience using tools such as Airtable, Retool, HiBob, or 15Five
• Background in a scaling start-up or SaaS environment
• Exposure to analytics tools (Looker, Power BI, Mode, etc.)
• Experience designing AI prompts, automations, or workflows
