At Workwize, we are looking for a structured and proactive Escalations Analyst to join our Procurement team. In this role, you’ll tackle challenging procurement issues and assist with improvement projects. If you’re driven by data, operational efficiency, and delivering exceptional outcomes, this is the role for you!
About the Role
As the Escalations Analyst for the Procurement team, you will play a pivotal role in managing procurement-related challenges, including supplier performance and pricing discrepancies. You’ll be responsible for addressing escalations, driving process improvements, and implementing best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our procurement operations. Reporting to the Procurement Manager, you will work closely with the Finance, Tech, and Project Management teams to ensure seamless and cost-effective procurement processes.
Key Responsibilities
Escalations Management
- Resolving Procurement Challenges: Investigate and resolve escalated issues related to supplier performance, pricing, and delivery timelines by collaborating with vendors and internal teams.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as a central point of contact for escalations, ensuring clear and timely communication with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
Process Optimization & Strategic Projects
- Improving Procurement Processes: Collaborate with the Procurement Manager and Project Coordinator to launch new technology features by manually populating product attributes and updating accurate product pricing, including VAT and tax adjustments.
Skills & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Procurement, or a related field (master's degree preferred).
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in procurement, supply chain, or vendor management.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proactive and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in procurement tools, ERP systems, and data analysis platforms.
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to build strong relationships with internal teams and external partners.
