The Role

Are you the type who lights up at the sound of a ringing phone? Do you love the thrill of turning a cold prospect into a warm conversation?

We're looking for a tenacious, charismatic Business Development Representative who knows how to open doors, spark interest, and book meetings that turn into deals. You'll be the critical first touchpoint for qualified prospects: the person who makes that perfect first impression and gets decision-makers excited to learn more.

This isn't about reading scripts. It's about genuinely connecting with people, understanding their challenges, and showing them there's a better way. You'll be fueling our sales engine by filling our Account Executives' calendars with high-quality demos.

What You'll Own

  • Master outreach at scale — Execute multi-channel outreach (calls, emails, LinkedIn) to engage qualified prospects and generate interest in Whale
  • Own your numbers — Hit and exceed monthly quotas for qualified demos booked, pipeline created, and conversion rates
  • Work the phones like a pro — Make 60+ calls daily with energy, persistence, and authenticity to break through the noise
  • Qualify with precision — Ask the right questions to identify true fit, understand pain points, and ensure every demo you book is primed to convert
  • Craft compelling messages — Personalize your outreach to resonate with each prospect's specific challenges and goals
  • Partner with AEs — Collaborate closely with Account Executives to ensure seamless handoffs and learn what makes demos successful
  • Keep the pipeline healthy — Meticulously manage your CRM, track activities, and maintain data hygiene so nothing slips through the cracks
  • Continuously improve — Test messaging, analyze what works, participate in coaching sessions, and level up your skills every week

You're a Fit If You…

  • Bring the hustle — 1-3 years of BDR, SDR, or inside sales experience (B2B SaaS is a major plus), or you're a natural salesperson ready to prove yourself
  • Love the grind — High-volume calling doesn't intimidate you; it energizes you. Rejection rolls off your back and fuels your next attempt
  • Connect authentically — You're not just reading scripts, you build genuine rapport quickly and make people want to talk to you
  • Ask smart questions — You know how to dig into pain points, qualify properly, and set up meetings that actually close
  • Stay organized and disciplined — You manage your time effectively, stay on top of follow-ups, and keep your pipeline moving
  • Communicate clearly — Excellent verbal and written communication skills; you know how to grab attention and hold it
  • Are coachable — You seek feedback, iterate quickly, and constantly look for ways to improve your game
  • Speak the language — Fluent English is essential; bonus points for additional languages

  • Compensation: 75K OTE
