Wat do you do as a Sales Manager?
In 2 words: make deals! As a Sales Manager, you are responsible for the commercial growth of Route42. This growth is achieved by binding new customers to Route42. You approach interesting companies yourself (cold and inbound leads), match the challenges within the company with the solution offered by Route42 and, together with the customer, formulate a business case in order to close the deal. It often starts with a trial process that is supervised by your Customer Success colleague, but you remain closely involved to achieve the conversion and ultimately get the customer to make more use of our services.
We are looking for a Sales Manager with ambition, who first proves himself able to sell our products and to realise his target (or preferably over performed of course!). Primary market area will be the Benelux. Subsequently, the sales team will expand rapidly and you will take the lead in building and guiding the team, but also set a good example by achieving your own targets (lead by example).
In short, a broad position with plenty of opportunities for further development.
What to bring?

-You are a driven sales hunter (new business), but understand the importance of a long-term customer relationship, so you stay involved with new customers so that you can also be at the forefront when there are opportunities to expand our services.
-You are analytical, strategic and data-driven.
-You have proven experience selling SaaS products, 3-5 years. You enjoy closing deals yourself, but also have the ambition to grow in the long term. A network in logistics is an plus.
-You are result-oriented and an agreement is really an agreement to you. You live up to it.
-You are communicative (Dutch and English) and not afraid to pick up the phone, you have guts and take action before someone asks you to. You listen well and ask questions when necessary.
-You have a good dose of curiosity and perseverance and have the urge to continuously improve yourself.
