Peak is expanding its team in Amsterdam, Berlin, and Stockholm. Our diverse and ambitious team is therefore looking for new investment team members in all functions (Analyst, Associate, Investment Manager, Principals) to strengthen the sourcing team. Within this job, you will talk with the most ambitious entrepreneurs, discuss the latest technologies, and source the best opportunities to invest in.

Therefore, we are looking for someone with bold ambitions and a passion for technology and entrepreneurship. Preferably, you have experience in investing in startups, or you have been a founder yourself.

Your responsibilities

• Deal sourcing: You will scout the best opportunities by talking to the most promising entrepreneurs. You will be continuously (virtually) meeting entrepreneurs, visiting events, or working your way through lists of startups to make sure we see the right opportunities at the right time.
• Deal assessment: You will perform in-depth research to evaluate these opportunities. This involves communicating with founders, performing competition analysis, testing products, doing market research, and calling clients and industry experts.
• Building the Peak brand: You will build the Peak brand and represent us at various pitching events, startup conferences, investor meet-ups, etcetera. You will continuously look for opportunities to publish content to strengthen the Peak brand.

Requirements

• You have 2+ years of experience (depending on which level) within the tech startup ecosystem. This can be as an investor or startup founder (preferred) or one of the first employees of a funded fast-growing startup.
• You have strong communication and commercial skills.
• You are fluent in English.
