Product Manager - B2B SaaS

Location: Remote - our product and tech core is in Copenhagen, Denmark. We are not asking you to live by CEST, but enough overlap to actually work together matters.

Who we are

Most AI products are wrappers. Ocean is not.

Every month we crawl 250 million pages and run them through NLP and machine learning research we have spent years building ourselves. The result is a system that understands companies the way a person would, by reading what they actually do, then finding others like them with an accuracy off-the-shelf LLMs cannot touch. That is why sales and marketing teams rely on us, why tools like Clay embed us and why you can already find us inside Claude.

We are around 27 people spread across the globe, with our product and engineering core in Copenhagen. About 1,000 customers pay for Ocean because it solves a real problem for them. We have built something that genuinely works. Now the question is how far we can take it.

The role

You will own our self-serve platform, the front door to everything above, while helping shape what comes next.

The platform is mature. Hundreds of trials start every month, customers are actively using it and the data to make good decisions is already in front of you. Your first big project is a full redesign of the onboarding flow: high impact, well scoped and a fast way to show what you can do.

The deeper challenge sits underneath. We are turning Segmentation into a core product line, a tool that clusters a customer's CRM data into ICP-fit segments and builds personalised lead scoring models, with a vision of a self-learning loop where real outreach outcomes feed back to sharpen the model over time. At the same time, more and more of our usage runs through agentic workflows and MCP. Building product for a world where your users are increasingly AI agents rather than humans is one of the most interesting questions in software right now. You will help answer it.

You will work directly with our CPO and CTO every day, alongside two frontend engineers, two backend engineers, four ML and data engineers, a UX designer and a QA engineer. It is a small team where people own their work and move fast.

One thing worth knowing: we build with AI ourselves. Every sprint we decide which tasks Claude can take on, ship them and have an engineer review before they go out. As PM you will help draw that line between what goes to Claude and what does not.

What you will own

  • Full product ownership of the self-serve platform: roadmap, prioritisation and release
  • The onboarding redesign as your first major initiative
  • Regular customer and prospect conversations that shape what gets built
  • Product thinking across Segmentation, the enterprise API and MCP surfaces
  • How Ocean behaves as an agent-native data source: what agents can do with our data, how they discover and call us and what product surfaces that creates
  • Close collaboration with sales and marketing on positioning, messaging and product gaps
  • How we explain our capabilities to different buyers, from solo operators to enterprise RevOps teams

Who you are

We are not looking for a perfect CV. We are looking for the right person. That likely means you:

  • You've owned a B2B SaaS product end-to-end before, not just contributed to one
  • Think about revenue and customer outcomes, not just feature delivery
  • Have a real feel for self-serve and PLG: activation, trial conversion and what keeps users coming back
  • Can turn a complex technical capability into something a non-technical buyer immediately understands and wants
  • Are comfortable talking to customers and good at turning those conversations into product decisions
  • Have worked in a small team and know how to move without heavy process
  • Are genuinely curious about how AI agents and LLMs are changing the way people work with data. You do not need to have built an MCP, but you should want to
  • Bring clarity to ambiguous situations instead of waiting for someone else to define the problem

Experience with data products, APIs or developer tools is a real bonus. Familiarity with sales and marketing outreach is a big plus too.

  5. Meet our CEO & Founder (30 min). A final conversation with the person who started it all, to make sure the vision, values and ambitions line up on both sides
