Account Executive - US Market (Remote)

We're now hiring our next Account Executive to own and grow the US market. Fully remote, high-ownership, high-impact. Sounds like you?

The Role

You'll be a hunter. You won't wait for leads to land in your inbox - you'll build pipeline, run complex multi-stakeholder deals, and close business that matters. You'll work directly with VP-level and C-suite buyers who care about pipeline generation, conversion lift, and revenue efficiency. Your job is to become their strategic partner, not just their vendor.

This is a role for someone who genuinely understands the MarTech and SalesTech landscape - not just as a product category, but as a system. You know how the tools connect, where they break down, and how to position Ocean as the intelligence layer that makes everything else work better.

What You'll Do

  • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to close - 60 to 180+ day enterprise deals
  • Build and maintain a pipeline with 3-5x coverage, with a strong self-sourced component
  • Run structured, multi-threaded deals across marketing, RevOps, and sales leadership
  • Deliver tailored demos and business cases that connect our product to real revenue outcomes
  • Forecast accurately and call your number

What We're Looking For

The fundamentals

  • 3-5+ years of SaaS sales experience with a track record of quota attainment (80–100%+)
  • Experience selling into the MarTech or SalesTech ecosystem - data providers, CRM, RevOps tools, lead routing, GTM intelligence
  • Familiarity with structured sales methodologies (MEDDICC, Command of the Message, or similar)
  • Comfort selling to VP Marketing, VP Sales, CRO, CMO, and RevOps leaders

The mindset

  • You build your own pipeline. You don't rely on inbound.
  • You think in outcomes, not features - you connect our product to pipeline, conversion, and revenue efficiency
  • You're genuinely curious about data, buyer psychology, and the evolving GTM landscape
  • You thrive in fast-moving categories and see change as an opportunity, not a threat

The knowledge

  • You understand data concepts: ICP modeling, enrichment, signal-based selling, attribution
  • You can speak intelligently to how tools integrate - CRM, marketing automation, data platforms
  • You know why legacy tools fail and can articulate what "better" actually looks like for a buyer

What's Not a Fit

  • You've only sold transactional, short-cycle SaaS with low ACV
  • You rely heavily on inbound or SDR-sourced pipeline
  • You struggle to build a quantified business case or explain customer ROI
  • You talk features when the buyer wants outcomes
  • You've rarely sold above manager level
