What You’ll Do:
- Drive Revenue: Take ownership of the full sales cycle for our API partnerships - from identifying opportunities and building relationships to closing deals that expand Ocean’s footprint across North America.
- Build Partnerships: Prospect, pitch, and negotiate with potential customers to integrate Ocean’s API into their products. Your ability to create lasting commercial relationships will be key to our success.
- Market Expansion: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify new verticals and revenue opportunities, positioning Ocean’s API as the preferred data partner in the AI-driven go-to-market landscape.
- Embrace the Tech: You can confidently navigate technical integration discussions, bridging the gap between a partner’s business goals and Ocean’s API capabilities.
Who You Are:
- A driven sales professional with hands-on experience bringing software or data products to market.
- 3+ years of experience in sales or business development, ideally selling APIs, integrations or data-driven solutions to B2B customers.
- Someone who understands the value of AI and data - from enrichment and segmentation to how it drives smarter prospecting, workflows, and decision-making.
- A relationship-builder with a proven track record of driving growth through strategic, data-centric partnerships.
- Someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and adapts quickly to change, while keeping a positive, collaborative spirit.
