Now, we’re scaling our commercial team in North America - and looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join us remotely from Montreal. You’ll be the very first in-market SDR in Canada for our API business, helping leading companies accelerate with the Ocean.io look-alike algorithm and data - helping us and them shape what outreach excellence looks like in the age of AI.

This role is fully remote, but based in Montreal to strategically place you between our headquarter in Copenhagen and our hub in San Francisco. It’s the perfect location for tight collaboration, fast response cycles, and world-class support from both sides of the Atlantic.

🔍 What You’ll Be Doing- Own the top of the funnel: Prospect, qualify, and engage high-potential accounts across North America for our API business.
- Leverage the best tools in the game - including Ocean, our proprietary AI-powered data platform - to prospect smarter and faster. You’ll also have the freedom to introduce and use the tools you know and love. You own your process.
- Use a strategic and highly personalized approach to outbound - research-driven, contextual, and always human. We don’t do “spray and pray”.
- Collaborate closely with our Sales and Product teams to share insights, market feedback, and help align messaging with real customer needs.
- Continuously test new messaging, channels, and tactics to maximize engagement and pipeline creation.
Core Attributes:
- 2+ years of experience in Sales Development, Business Development, or a similar outbound sales role in Go-To-Market Tech (GTM Tech), AI, or data environments.
- Skilled at personalized, strategic outreach - and know what it takes to build meaningful conversations from scratch.
- Comfortable navigating and using modern CRM and go-to-market tech stacks.
- Tech-aware and commercially sharp - you’re curious about the tools you’re selling and the people you’re selling to.
- Based in Montreal and experienced working fully remotely within a high-autonomy team setup.
- Familiar with North American markets, especially the U.S. - you understand how to tailor outreach to resonate with this audience.
Bonus Traits:
- Familiar with RESTful APIs and webhooks - you know how to speak their language and frame value in technical terms.
- You’ve successfully sold to technical teams like Engineering and Product, and understand how to engage them with relevance and clarity.
- Experienced with multi-channel outreach - whether it’s LinkedIn, email, or cold calling, you know how to meet prospects where they are.
- Comfortable with mid-market/enterprise outreach cycles - you know how to stay strategic, relevant, and persistent when engaging larger, multi-stakeholder organizations.
