Job Summary:

  • We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Social Media Manager with 2-3 years of experience managing social media for B2B companies in the e-commerce industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of creating engaging content that resonates with audiences on Instagram and TikTok, along with a deep understanding of the platforms’ algorithms and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Content Creation: Develop high quality, engaging content tailored for Instagram, X (Twitter) and TikTok to captivate e-commerce merchants.

  • Product Adoption: Persuade e-commerce and Shopify merchants to use Helio through educational and entertaining content.

  • Platform Management: Create and manage our Instagram and TikTok accounts from scratch, including content scheduling, posting and community engagement.

  • Audience Engagement: Foster and maintain a strong online community by responding to comments, messages and engaging with followers.

  • Trend monitoring: Stay updated with the latest trends, tools and best practices on Instagram and TikTok to ensure our content remains relevant and impactful.

  • Influencer Partnerships: Identify and engage with industry influencers to enhance brand visibility and credibility.

  • Other Marketing Activities: Work closely with the head of marketing on other marketing & targeting activities outside of social channels where relevant

  • Analytics and Reporting: Track, analyse and report on key performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of content and campaigns and to inform future strategies

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of experience building and managing social media channels for B2B companies, ideally within the e-commerce space.

  • Demonstrable experience creating highly engaging content, particularly Instagram and TikTok, X (Twitter) is a plus.

  • Knowledge of latest trends with the ability to create fast and relevant content.

  • Strong understanding of the e-commerce landscape, specifically Shopify.

  • Graphic design and video editing skills are a significant plus.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

  • Creativity , adaptability and a proactive approach to problem solving.

  • Proficiency in social media analytics tools and ability to interpret data to drive strategy.

  • Creative thinker with the ability to generate and execute innovative ideas.
