What you will do:

• Power up our infrastructure to keep pace with the company’s fast growth and technology evolution.
• Set the standard and architecture for observability, via applying best practices and processes across our entire tech stack.
• Steer the design and building of a fully automated, developer self-service platform to enable rapid execution and continuous delivery.
• Define, implement, and own our cloud infrastructure with AWS in terms of management standards, architecture, and running costs.
• Collaborate with our AI team to put in place the infrastructure to enable rapid, high-scale deep learning research, development, and deployment.
• Advocate for DevOps culture and enable product teams to rapidly, safely, and securely get things done.
• Roll out ownership structure and on-call rotation process across engineering.
• Contribute to the overall engineering culture and productivity.

What you will bring:

• 10+ years of experience operating and supporting a high-volume, high-performance, cloud-based distributed computing environment, with 5+ years experience showing progressive levels of responsibility and leadership.
• Deep understanding of Cloud Native architectures, approaches, and costs, with focus on AWS.
• Proven experience with Terraform, containers and monitoring solutions.
• Experience “leading from the front” across organizational/team boundaries.
• Experience with leading engineering-wide SRE and devexp practices and processes, such on-call support, stability/uptime, ownership and security.
