Your Role: As a Senior Full Stack Developer at CarbonCloud, you'll play a pivotal role in our journey towards global leadership. You'll work directly with our Head of Engineering and collaborate closely with the rest of the development team. Here, we don't just set goals; we achieve them together. Whether it's diving into functional programming, wearing different hats to solve diverse challenges, or delivering features that drive results, you'll be at the forefront of our innovation.
What We're Looking For:

Communication skills: Our technical solutions are not designed in isolation, and collaboration with other teams is necessary both for getting the solution right, and making sure it fits our customers’ needs and the organization’s.
The technical circumstances:
Our engineering team swallowed the pill of functional programming a long time ago and never looked back. Beyond that, we're not committed to any particular technology. Our services are currently written in Haskell and Elm, and we use kubernetes, terraform, infrastructure as code and AWS to give you an idea, but we're open to explore any technology that helps us keep a good balance between strong compile-time guarantees, easy onboarding, quick feedback loops, and handy modeling for a fearless exploration of a greenfield domain.
Impact: Your work directly contributes to fighting climate change by helping food producers reduce their carbon footprint.
Collaborative Culture: We're a tight-knit team that values cooperation, shared goals, and mutual support.
Career Growth: In a rapidly growing company, you won't just be the latest hire – you'll become one of our most experienced colleagues.
Location: While our HQ is in Gothenburg, Sweden, we offer flexibility in remote work arrangements.

Working here is a great way to try out new things and push your comfort zone, if you want to. We don't have a specialist in every area yet, counting on the team being flexible and stepping in wherever needed. Some of us stick to our ordinary job descriptions, but we also have developers trying out sales, and designers doing marketing.
We are flexible with hours and remote work where needed, trusting everyone to do their best to work in a way that's effective. We're currently doing a mixed setup with some people working remotely full time. We are looking forward to working together at the office after the pandemic!
We do climate footprint calculations for food producers, insights on where to improve, and transparency to consumers through packaging labels. The science is hard, the product is simple. We are building a global network of climate calculations - improve one calculation, and the others react.
